Perimeter & Borders

perimeter intrusion detection system (PIDS) is a high security IP based modular Dual Technology barrier that combines unique new digital bi-directional with optical synchronization IR beam and digital microwave technologies within one unit. Developed for long range outdoor surveillances (up to 200m coverage between transmitter and receiver unit) for high risk areas located in critical environments where conventional technologies fail to grant continuous proper operations

It is classified as Anti Cut and Anti Climbing, are made to prevent any vandalism thanks to the small 76.2 x 12.7 mm meshes as well as its resistance, both factors create a safety barrier against climb over, not allowing any support to feet or hands.
The sensors are hidden in special compartments obtained inside the posts or bars of the HSF system, while the connecting bus cable passes inside special ducts which are part of the structure and allow the transit of the lines along the entire perimeter of the fence.

Provides up to 51 km of protection in perimetes applications. Its fiber optic sensor technology requiers no powered or conductive items in the field
making the sensor completely immune to EMI and lightning and intrisically safe in the presence of explosive atmosphere. works by transmitting pulses of laser light into a single-mode optical fiber and accurately measuring the minute light reflections that occur along its length. A disturbance of the fiber caused by fence vibrations changes the amount of light returned from that point.

advanced range of fibre optic intrusion detection solutions need no power or electronics in the field reducing the overall infrastructure costs of a Perimeter Intrusion Detection (PID) solution. Furthermore, they are not susceptible to external electromagnetic interference such as RFI/EMI so are suitable for a wide range of sectors including Transportation, Governmental, Residential, Utilities, Oil & Gas and Military. For high security sites, every second counts when it comes to identifying the location of an intruder – it's advanced algorithm-driven processing capability can identify an intrusion with an accuracy of 3 to 4 metres on a perimeter up to 60km in length, thereby enabling a swift response
